International Conference on “Global Supply Chains and Emerging Markets”
5th to 7th December 2013 New Delhi,India
The Centre for Supply Chain and Logistics Management at Birla institute of Management Technology
and Logistics Institute at the Hull University Business School have come together to create a platform
for academics and practitioners to present forward thinking in research and applications in supply
chain and Logistics operations, planning and management dealing with the issues and challenges
faced in the emerging markets.
The first international conference” ICSCLM 2013” on the theme “Global Supply Chains and Emerging
Markets” will be jointly hosted by BIMTECH and University of Hull Business School on 5-7 December
2013 in New Delhi, India. Academicians and industry practitioners are invited to participate in this
conference and present their research and applications. The conference programme will include
research presentation sessions, industry panel sessions to share experience on current and future
issues in supply chain management & logistics thus create a forum for future debate and discussions.

The important dates are as follows:
Submission of abstracts (500 words) – April 15, 2013
Confirmation of acceptance of Abstracts – May 20, 2013
Submission of full papers (5000 words max) – July 31, 2013
Acceptance of full papers after review process – Aug. 20, 2013
This Conference scientific committee will shortlist papers for recommending to international academic
journals including International Journal of Logistics Management for consideration of publication.
The papers accepted for presentation at the conference will be published in the proceedings on
a memory stick/ CD with ISSN number and selected papers will be included in a book on global
supply chain management and emerging markets..
